mr. leong. so good to see you are still kicking. Happy Birthday to you. Are you still picking. i'm still a closet picker but after 57 years of picking I've gotten pretty good. I'll never forget the night in your room downtown when you played that big bass. do good things for yourself and others. Happy birthday.

I met Rodney when they moved from Arizona to the end of Packard Lane just across the street from where i lived. We were little kids who roamed down in the Corralitos creek. When we were about 11 or 12 Rodney told me how babies were made and i told him that was BS. He said "What do you think the ducks and chickens are doing?" I soon realized he was right. As little kids we would hold 'church' services in our 'fort' down in the creek. Rod was Catholic so one week he played priest and the next week i played preacher.
So who's left: Richard Humble, Manual Hernandez, Ken Pengally, David Isidro. Are you guys still alive? .... i suppose we are getting old as life slips by and the grandkids are growing up and the old friends disappearing.
If anyone knows i'd like to know how and when Rodney died. I've lost his contact info and last saw him at his home about 15 years ago when we spent a few hours out by his pool discussing our lives and loves. (including how Carol Rinaldi liked Rod and I liked Carol ... from the third grade on,)
Like the dew on the grass life passes before we know what has happened. deepest of bows to everyone who remains.
i rarely come here but i saw your name and had to say Hi! Lynn and I are celebrating 50 years married this Saturday.... Do good and stay safe.
